“Rigatoni” is an adult comedy, my first non-children’s, non-musical play. It was produced in 2011 by The Pawling Players.
When the owners of an Italian restaurant in Brooklyn find out
that their daughter, an up-and-coming Broadway actress, is
nominated for a Tony award, they will stop at nothing to
ensure that she wins the prize.
But it won’t be easy: also competing for the award
is a famous ’80s TV star making her big comeback.
How can a humble family of pasta-slingers possibly “rig a Tony?”
